13 strings at a 6 dpi (dents per inch)
or
15 strings at a 8 dpi
or
19 strings at a 10dpi
local birch laser cut and finished with linseed oil
5.5 cm x 9.0 cm ( 2 inches x 3 1/2 inches)
hardwood shuttle finished with linseed oil
great beginners/kids since threading is fast. My son (when just 4!) made his first back strap weaving with this. Pulled thread through and wove! (there was some parental supervision;)
also good for well rounded weaves for a heddle on hand for small bands.
