Each piece is finished with boiled linseed oil to bring out the natural grain of the wood and ensures lasting durability.
We use only locally and sustainably harvested wood—birch for the heddle board, and pine for the loom bars. All materials are thoughtfully selected and handmade with care in small batches. Because of the natural variation in wood grain and tone, no two looms are exactly alike. Each kit is a unique piece of the tree it came from, carrying a story all its own.
