The one pictured is an example. Yours while be similar, just with variations in the kind of hardwood that is available, maybe oak, ash, apple,  or chestnut

The shuttle is made by an old man, Gunars Saknitis (means little roots), I met selling scythes. Since his wife is a weaver he has also specialized in some weaving tools. Gunars says he is almost ninety. When I visited his house I said where is your workshop. He replied, you're in it! He makes these all by hand in his home. He has beautiful hands and a full head of thick dove white hair.
