used for band/tape weaving with backstrap, rigid heddle loom or on other looms to make pick-up designs as seen in Saami weaving and Baltic weaving. And since it is small you generally wont need anything else but this, a shuttle and yarn.
totally portable, behold the pocket heddle! unless you are wearing skinny jeans then it might not fit.
