easy to operate and could hold an oxen! we could not find an oxen but there is a picture with a 32lb(16k.) weight.
just rolls in, holds fast, and when you want to advance, an easy tug and that is it.

Material:
Ash or oak and pine wood with metal hooks to attach either to a backstrap or directly to your pants. metal hooks are able to turn other way if so desired.
